Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning: Program in Higher Education
The CASTL Higher Education Program is comprised of three components: the Carnegie Scholars program, the Campus program, and the Scholarly and Professional Societies program. The The Carnegie Scholars Program brings together outstanding faculty in higher education from a variety of academic fields to design and undertake investigations of issues in teaching and learning in their fields that will contribute to thought and practice. The Campus Program is designed for institutions in all sectors of higher education that are prepared to make a public commitment to the scholarship of teaching and learning. This component is coordinated by Carnegie's partner, the American Association for Higher Education (AAHE). The Scholarly and Professional Societies Program is a collaboration with organizations that are committed to advancing and supporting the scholarship of teaching and learning in higher education.
